Davenport was purchased in 2003. At that time it was almost new. The house was built in 1999 and although it had no structural problems, all of the features and fixtures were basic and very plain – it simply had no character and no curb-appeal. The house also had an 1150 square foot unfinished basement just begging to be added to the livable space.

We put in all new light fixtures, appliances, floor coverings (tile and wood) and counter-tops on the first level – as well as a lot of paint. See a "before" image of the kitchen.

Outside we added a terraced garden and rebuilt the front steps and front porch.

Downstairs was finished by adding an additional bedroom, full bath, office, living room, several closets, a storage room and a custom bar.

This house went from ho-hum to a beautiful, functional, and fun space.
